WATCH | Sir Jadeja loses wicket after ridiculous mix-up

The IPL has already produced some hilarious mix-ups and while a few resulting in run outs, there were a few brain fades on offer too - cue Yuvraj Singh and Kuldeep Yadav. GL provided yet another one with Ravindra Jadeja and Ishan Kishan ending up at the same end resulting in the former's wicket.

Gujarat Lion's Jadeja and Kishan were not going to given up in their chase of RCB's 214 depite the run rate nearing 20. In the 18th over, Kishan hit a Travis Head for a six on the second ball of the over to collect 8 runs off the first 3 balls. On the fourth ball, Jadeja pushed one to long-on and Kishan decided to steal a double. However, after reaching the non striker's end, Jadeja had raised his hand to signal just one run, not willing to test Virat Kohli's arm. Ishan, though, was already on his way and had eyes only for the ball. Both players ended up on the non striker's end and Kohli picked the correct side for the throw.

However, the drama wasn't done as both players had made the crease almost simultaneously. Even though, Jadeja had his entire body behind the crease, the third umpire, after viewing a few replays, decided to side with the 18-year-old and gave Jadeja out. While the IPL is a great spectacle for the fans, moments like this only add to the entertainment value of the league.
