India to host Australia women for three ODIs in March

The Australian women’s team will travel to India in March next year to play three ODIs against India as part of the ICC Women's Championship. The three ODIs between the two nations will be played in Baroda, following two warm-up games at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai against India A.
The three-match series, which will be played from March 12 to 18, will be followed by a T20I tri-nation series, involving India, England and Australia. The tri-series will be played in Mumbai, with all the teams playing two games against each other before the final. The tri-nation series begins on March 22 and ends with the final on April 3.
However, before the tournament, India will travel to South Africa for three ODIs and five T20Is as a part of the ICC Championship and will return to the country after ending the series on February 24. The team will be led by Mithali Raj and may have players like Mumbai's Jemimah Rodriguez, the 17-year-old all-rounder, who created a storm in the media by her sheer force of numbers in the junior circuit - 1013 runs in ten innings, at an average of 112.56 and a strike-rate of 100.49.
Several other Under-19 girls, who featured in the senior set-up, will have a go at the selection as their skill and the limited pool of players. They will find the trip useful for the bigger challenges ahead.
