Siddarth Kaul, who has been in form of his life in this IPL, has credited his well-defined role with SRH as the major reason for his success in the ongoing cash rich league. Kaul’s impressive performance in the ongoing Indian Premier League has been rewarded with a spot in the national team.

Kaul has impressed everyone with his performances in this edition of Indian Premier League and has been one of the pillars of the SRH bowling line-up in the absence of Bhuvenshwar Kumar.  Be it bowling in the powerplay or in the fag end of the innings, he has been up to the task more often than not. He has grabbed 13 wickets in the 11 matches he has played so far with an economy rate of 7.50.

His impressive numbers have earned him a spot in the national team and Siddarth Kaul attributes his latest success to the well-defined role given by his franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was hopeful of giving similar kind of performances for the Indian team as well.

"I am elated on my selection in the Indian team. The good wishes of my parents and my hardwork of over the years has paid off. My role in Sunrisers set-up has been well defined and that has helped me perform. Hopefully, I can continue my good form in India colours also," Siddarth Kaul said as quoted by CricketNext.

The 27-year old had previously been picked in the national squad during last year's home ODI series against Sri Lanka but didn't get to play a game.
