Our Take

As the Chennai Super Kings look all set to arrive at their home venue, the team is also looking to perform up to the fans' expectations. Even in the last season, injury issues had troubled the team even in the matches they played at their home venue. Still, the fans in Yellow have shown their loyalty towards the franchise, as they wait for them to lift the sixth title.

What's more exciting for the fans is that MS Dhoni will be making his return to his favourite venue. However, they will be missing the duo of Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni, the duo that lifted the IPL 2023 trophy together. Still, they will be able to see Sanju Samson joining the team, who also received the POTT award in the T20 World Cup 2026.
