Chinnaswamy Stadium is now set to host IPL matches and even fans can spectate it. After going through a deadly stampede last year, the stadium awaited confirmation from the higher authorities. Now, the Karnataka Government has also given the final approval for the stadium to host games.
The Indian Premier League is about to begin soon, and fans could witness the action in some of the most lively venues. Chinnaswamy Stadium is also confirmed to host IPL matches, even after being under watch for a long time. A deadly stampede took place outside the venue which took the lives of 11 people.
Following that, the stadium was declared as unfit to host any match. But now, several checks have been made by the higher authorities and even the stadium was shortlisted to host IPL games. In the first 20 fixtures of the tournament, the Chinnaswamy Stadium will also be hosting some games, including the El Clásico, RCB vs CSK.
