Fabio Capello hailed 20-year-old Kenan Yildiz for his standout display in Juventus' 2-1 win against Cagliari. Yildiz scored two first-half goals, completing a remarkable run of two goals and three assists across the last two matches. Capello highlighted his class, impact, and ability to lift the team, calling him a key figure in Juventus' recent comebacks.

Going to the heart of Juventus’s 2-1 win over Cagliari, Kenan Yildiz once again emerged as the centrepiece of the performance, earning glowing praise from Fabio Capello. The 20 year old forward scored both goals for Juventus after the team initially fell behind to a Sebastiano Esposito strike at the Allianz Stadium. This match marked the second straight game in which Juventus had to overturn an early deficit, following their 3-2 Champions League victory against Bodo Glimt earlier in the week.

Yildiz has now produced two goals and three assists across these two fixtures, underlining his growing influence in Massimiliano Allegri’s attacking structure. Capello, writing in his La Gazzetta dello Sport column, highlighted two key aspects that defined recent Juventus performances. He pointed out the team’s improved reaction to adversity and emphasised the rising impact of Yildiz, who first changed the game from the bench in Norway and then dominated Cagliari with a decisive brace.

With Dusan Vlahovic injured, Yildiz stepped into a central attacking role and delivered with maturity beyond his age. Capello praised his technical class, powerful shooting, and most importantly his character, noting that he consistently affects matches whether starting or coming off the bench. The former coach believes Juventus have a rare match winner capable of carrying the team forward.
