PSG coach Luis Enrique dismissed transfer speculation linking Real Madrid to defender Willian Pacho. The Ecuadorian star played 53 matches in PSG’s quadruple-winning 2024–25 season, helping the club win their first Champions League. Enrique confidently stated it's tough to take players from PSG, amid Madrid's ongoing efforts to strengthen their defense.

Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has laughed off reports linking center back Willian Pacho to Real Madrid, making it clear that the Ecuadorian is going nowhere. Pacho, only 23, played a key role in PSG’s historic 2024–25 season, where the French side lifted their first-ever UEFA Champions League title and secured a memorable quadruple.

Partnering with Marquinhos in defense, Pacho helped PSG concede just six goals in nine Champions League knockout games and he also made 53 appearances across all competitions, establishing himself as a reliable and consistent presence at the back.

Following their European triumph, several PSG stars have gained global attention. Ousmane Dembélé is among the Ballon d’Or favourites, Nuno Mendes is being hailed as one of the best left backs in the world, and Vitinha continues to earn praise. Now, Real Madrid are reportedly looking at Pacho to further strengthen their defense, having already signed Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen.

However, Enrique dismissed the rumours with a smile after PSG’s 4–0 win over Atlético Madrid in the FIFA Club World Cup, saying, “It’s normal that they want all our players, but it’s difficult to get players out of PSG.” He is determined not to lose another star after Kylian Mbappé’s free transfer to Madrid last season.
