Real Madrid have reportedly identified Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane as a €65 million target if Vinicius Junior’s contract talks fail. Kane, 32, has scored 22 goals and provided 3 assists in 15 games this season. With only a year left on his Bayern deal, he could link up with Kylian Mbappe under Xabi Alonso.

For the first time in years, Real Madrid are reportedly preparing for the possibility of losing Vinicius Junior, with Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane emerging as the club’s priority replacement. According to reports from Fichajes, Real are ready to offer €65 million (£57.01 million) for Kane if contract talks with Vinicius fail to progress. The Brazilian winger, who has less than two years left on his current deal, recently caused a stir by reacting angrily to being substituted in the October 26 El Clasico win over Barcelona before later apologising.

Kane, meanwhile, has been in exceptional form for Bayern Munich this season, scoring 22 goals and assisting three times in just 15 games, including five goals in three Champions League appearances. With only one year left on his contract in the summer of 2026, he could be available at a reasonable price.

If Kane joins Los Blancos, manager Xabi Alonso could reshuffle his frontline, moving Kylian Mbappe to the left and deploying Kane as the central striker ahead of Jude Bellingham. The English forward’s link-up play, vision, and finishing could significantly strengthen Real Madrid’s attack, making him an ideal fit alongside Mbappe and Bellingham in pursuit of European glory.
