Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a record €250 million transfer raid for Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice to strengthen Xabi Alonso’s midfield. The club may also bid €100 million for PSG’s Bradley Barcola. Rice, valued at €114.8 million, has two goals and two assists in 11 Premier League games this season.

As the January transfer window approaches, Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a record-breaking €250 million double swoop targeting Arsenal’s Declan Rice and PSG’s Bradley Barcola. According to Fichajes, president Florentino Perez is eager to strengthen the squad with elite talent to maintain Madrid’s dominance in Spain and Europe. The report claims Madrid could offer up to €150 million for Rice, who has become Mikel Arteta’s midfield anchor since his €116 million move from West Ham in 2023.

The 26-year-old has impressed this season with two goals and two assists in 11 Premier League appearances and is praised by Arteta for his consistency and growing influence. Rice has also created more chances than any other Premier League player across all competitions, many from set pieces, showcasing his all-round contribution.

Alongside Rice, Madrid are said to be considering a €100 million bid for Barcola, PSG’s 23-year-old French winger valued at around €52.4 million, as a potential successor to Rodrygo. While both Arsenal and PSG are reluctant to sell, Madrid are reportedly willing to make offers that could prove hard to refuse as they aim to invest heavily in talent that secures both present success and long-term dominance.
