Harry Kane Keen to Extend Bayern Munich Stay Despite Transfer Interest

Despite interest from Barcelona, Chelsea, and Manchester United ahead of his release clause activation, the English striker prefers to continue with the Bundesliga champions beyond the 2025-26 season.

For the 2025-26 season, Harry Kane has expressed his desire to continue at Bayern Munich despite growing interest from Barcelona, Chelsea, and Manchester United. The English striker, who joined the German champions from Tottenham Hotspur in August 2023, has been in exceptional form since his arrival. After helping Bayern reclaim the Bundesliga title in 2024-25, Kane has started the new season brilliantly, scoring 13 goals and providing three assists in just seven appearances. 

His consistency and elite finishing have once again made him one of Europe’s most sought-after forwards. Chelsea, always eager to capitalize on transfer opportunities, view Kane as an upgrade over recent signings Joao Pedro and Liam Delap. Manchester United, long-term admirers of the England captain, remain interested even after acquiring Rasmus Hojlund and Benjamin Sesko. Meanwhile, Barcelona are eyeing Kane as a potential successor to the aging Robert Lewandowski, whose departure from Camp Nou appears imminent. 

However, Kane’s commitment to Bayern Munich and his happiness in Germany have cast doubt over any possible transfer. With a release clause expected to come into effect soon, major clubs may attempt to lure him away, but for now, Kane seems determined to continue leading Bayern’s attack.
