When the future of Harry Kane at Bayern Munich came under focus, the club confirmed that discussions are ongoing, though no formal negotiations have been finalised yet. Sporting director Max Eberl stated that Bayern are in regular contact with the England captain, whose contract runs until June 2027. He clarified that while talks are “intensive,” they do not yet amount to a concrete agreement, and rumours about transfer bids remain unverified.

Kane has been outstanding this season, scoring 24 Bundesliga goals and becoming Europe’s leading league scorer. Since joining Bayern from Tottenham in 2023 for around £100 million, he has netted 123 goals in 129 appearances. His success also helped Bayern win the Bundesliga title last season under Vincent Kompany, ending his long wait for major silverware.

Internationally, Kane remains England’s top scorer with 78 goals in 112 matches. In the Premier League, he has 213 goals, leaving him 47 short of Alan Shearer’s record. At 32, and turning 33 in July, time is limited for a possible return to England. Reports also link him with Saudi clubs. Meanwhile, Bayern lead Borussia Dortmund by six points and have reached the Champions League last 16, strengthening their case to keep their star striker.
