Pro Kabaddi League Season 12, starting August 29, features a revamped 108-match league stage where each team plays 18 games. A new tie-breaker with Golden Raid applies from league matches, while a simplified points system (2 for win, 0 for loss) adds clarity. The top 8 teams enter Play-ins and Playoffs, intensifying competition and fan engagement.

For the twelfth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League, the organizers have introduced major format changes to make the competition more intense and engaging. The season, beginning on August 29, will feature a longer league stage with 108 matches, where each franchise will play 18 games. This ensures that every team faces a tough challenge and fans enjoy high-intensity kabaddi throughout.

One of the most notable changes is the expansion of the Golden Raid rule and tie-breaker system to the league stage. If a match ends in a tie, a five-raid shootout will take place, and if still level, the Golden Raid decides the winner. This eliminates drawn results and guarantees a thrilling finish to every contest. The points table has also been simplified, with teams earning 2 points for a win and none for a loss, making standings more transparent and easier to follow.

In the biggest shift, the Playoffs will now involve the top 8 teams, with a new Play-in system ensuring even more franchises stay in contention. Teams placed 5th to 8th will battle in Play-ins, while those ranked higher get extra opportunities to qualify. The path to the Final now includes three Eliminators and two Qualifiers, ensuring more drama before the championship clash.
