Jaipur Pink Panthers have named all-rounder Nitin Rawal as captain and Iranian defender Reza Mirbagheri as vice-captain for Pro Kabaddi League Season 12. Rawal, part of the team since Season 5, returns to lead a young squad, while Mirbagheri, a key figure since their 2022 title win, strengthens leadership under coach Narender Redhu.

When the Jaipur Pink Panthers announced their leadership group for Pro Kabaddi League Season 12, it marked a significant moment for the franchise. Nitin Rawal, who began his PKL journey with the team in Season 5 as a New Young Player and stayed until Season 8, has returned to captain the side. Known for his maturity and versatility as an all-rounder, Nitin’s leadership is seen as a natural fit for a squad filled with young and energetic talents.

Supporting him is Iranian defender Reza Mirbagheri, named vice-captain. Reza joined the Panthers in Season 9, the year they clinched their second PKL title, and since then has been the backbone of their defense with his consistency and tactical awareness. Head coach Narender Redhu praised the duo, highlighting how Nitin’s deep understanding of the franchise culture complements Reza’s defensive strength.

Both leaders are expected to guide the new-look squad, which features several young players, with a balance of energy and experience. After completing a high-intensity camp in Dehradun, the Panthers will begin their campaign in Visakhapatnam against Patna Pirates on September 2, 2025. For Nitin, leading the team feels like a “full circle” moment, while Reza sees his vice-captaincy as a proud responsibility.
