For the Patna Pirates, the 12th season of the Pro Kabaddi League witnessed a statement win as they crushed Dabang Delhi K.C. 61-26 at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium, recording the biggest margin of the season. The victory moved them into a Playoffs position with one league match remaining against Jaipur Pink Panthers. Patna started strongly with Ayan scoring in the opening raid, but Dabang Delhi’s Akshit quickly responded.

The teams exchanged points in a closely contested first half, and the score was tied at 7-7 at the Strategic Time Out. After the break, Patna Pirates gained momentum through Ayan’s raids and capitalized on Akshit’s errors, building a 13-8 lead. The Pirates inflicted an All Out on Dabang Delhi, extending the lead to 19-13 by halftime. The second half saw Patna dominate completely.

Navdeep, Milan Dahiya, and Ankit Kumar contributed with tackles and raids, while Ayan completed a Super 10, triggering multiple All Outs. At one stage, Patna led 39-17, with Ayan’s five-point burst increasing the gap to 31 points. Ankit also achieved a Super 10 and Navdeep a High 5, highlighting the team’s all-round strength. Despite Akshit’s Super Raid efforts, Dabang Delhi could not recover. Patna sealed the match with a Super Tackle, completing a 35-point triumph and cementing their playoff hopes.
