As the Bengaluru Bulls took the mat against the Gujarat Giants at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium in Delhi on Thursday, they delivered a masterclass in raiding and defence to secure a dominant 54-26 win. Despite conceding the first point to Himanshu Singh, the Bulls quickly turned the tide with a two-point raid from Alireza Mirzaian and a strong tackle by Deepak Sankar.
Their early aggression paid off as they inflicted the first ALL OUT of the season within three minutes, taking a 9-point lead. By the first Strategic Time Out, Bengaluru had surged to a 17-4 advantage, maintaining relentless pressure throughout the first half. They added two more ALL OUTs, stretching their lead to 34-7, and entered halftime with a commanding 36-7 scoreline. The second half saw the Bulls continue their dominance, recording a fourth ALL OUT to move to 45-11.
Alireza Mirzaian and Akash Shinde showcased excellent raiding form, each completing a Super 10, while the Giants struggled to regain momentum. Gujarat’s Shridhar Kadam produced a three-point Super Raid and forced an ALL OUT, narrowing the score to 51–24, but the Bulls held firm. With disciplined play till the final whistle, Bengaluru Bulls wrapped up a comprehensive victory and confirmed their place in the top four.
