Cricket

Dust bowl in Nagpur!  As we write, SA have been bundled out for 79 in response to India’s 215. Star of the day Ashwin with another 5-wicket haul (14 fifer!) while Jadeja gets 4 wickets. Duminy’s fighting 35 saved some face for SA after they were 12/ 5 at one stage!

Yesterday, Morkel delivered for SA with a wonderful spell of reverse swing to account for 3 of India’s best batsmen (Vijay, Kohli and Rahane). And, India’s batting makes a star of another off-spinner as Harmer took 4 wickets.

Kohli’s batting stance has come in for sharp criticism from Gavaskar.

#LetsFootball

Reinaldo saved the day for Goa with a delightful stinging drive to tie the match 1-1 against North East. Goa have now only scored once in two games after putting 7 past Mumbai City FC. NEU have now moved into 4th place – a creditable season so far after finishing 8th last season!

Tennis

Champions Tennis League: Hingis never gets old! She won both the singles and mixed doubles to help Hyderabad Aces defeat Chennai Warriors 25-16. The loss means that all home teams have lost in all 3 matches so far!

Hockey

After a creditable draw yesterday, India Women lost to World No. 3 Argentina 1-4 in their 2nd friendly match.
