Later, he even led the Mumbai Indians to win five IPL trophies, being the most successful IPL captain ever. But over the years, fans used to think who could be the Mumbai Chi Rani.
And now that we have found the perfect contender for this tag, and it is Harmanpreet Kaur. She is a lot similar to Rohit Sharma, playing for the Mumbai Indians in the T20 league, and also representing India as a skipper. With Harman winning the World Cup as a captain, she has taken the tag of Mumbai Chi Rani.
1. WPL 2023
Harmanpreet Kaur started her journey with Mumbai with the help of the Women's Premier League. In the inaugural edition of the same, she was picked as the captain of the Mumbai Indians. Leading the team in its very first season, she ensured to give her best as the skipper.
In the league stages, the Mumbai Indians were able to finish second in the standings with 6 wins in 8 matches. The team went against UP Warriorz in the Eliminator match and ended up winning the same by 72 runs, marching into the finals of the inaugural Women's Premier League.

Mumbai Indians did well with the ball in this game, as they restricted Delhi Capitals to just 131 runs. Chasing down the total, Mumbai was able to win the game by 7 wickets, taking its first title for the Mumbai fans. After not being able to win the Women's Premier League 2024 edition, Harmanpreet Kaur decided to show her levels once again in the 2025 edition. Leading the Mumbai Indians once again, she had the main objective to win the title. This time again, the Mumbai Indians were able to finish second in the standings, just behind the Delhi Capitals, with 5 wins in 8 matches.
The team went against the Gujarat Giants in the Eliminator match, ready to face the Delhi Capitals in the finals. Batting first, Mumbai was able to score 213 runs in the game, as Harmanpreet Kaur contributed with 36 runs off just 12 balls for the team. The bowlers did the job well, as they bowled out Gujarat for 166, with Mumbai reaching the finals again.

The final match was being played in Mumbai, as the team decided to bat first. Harmanpreet Kaur ended up scoring 66 runs, as Mumbai scored 149 runs in their innings. This total surely looked easy to chase by the batters of Delhi Capitals, but fans were not ready for what was coming next.

3. Women's World Cup 2025
It didn't take time for Harmanpreet Kaur to win her third trophy in Mumbai. And this time, it created history for the India Women's team, as Harmanpreet Kaur became the first Indian captain to win the Women's World Cup. In the league stages, India was able to finish 4th in the standings

Even in the final match against South Africa, Harmanpreet Kaur gave her best as a captain. India was able to put up 298 runs on the board, but Harman didn't contribute much to the same. During the chase, her strategic decisions helped India restrict South Africa to just 246 runs. India ended up winning the final of the Women's World Cup, with Harmanpreet Kaur lifting the trophy in Mumbai.
