He also praised the Orange Army in the interview, talking about the unwavering support shown by the fans towards him. Despite his not being able to perform well, the fans always motivated him for the next game. Abhishek's letter for the Orange Army still remains the best moment this year for SRH fans.

1. Tough Beginning for Abhishek in IPL 2025

Abhishek Sharma was a dominant batsman for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2024 season. With hopes that the team would score 300 runs this time, all eyes were on him. But Abhishek was not able to perform well for the team in the initial few games.

Punjab Kings batted first in this game and scored 245/6 in their innings. With the team posting a mammoth total, several fans thought this game was for Sunrisers Hyderabad to lose. But Abhishek Sharma had some different plans.

Abhishek Sharma went on to score 141 runs off just 55 balls, with 14 fours and 10 sixes. After completing his century in 40 balls, Abhishek Sharma finally took out the note he had in his pocket. The note said, “This One's for the Orange Army,” as Abhishek Sharma dedicated his ton to the fans and their unwavering support.

His note did keep everyone intrigued, as Shreyas Iyer even went towards him. Iyer took the note in his hands and read what was written on it by Abhishek Sharma. Travis Head later revealed that he kept the note in his pocket for several games and finally got the chance to take it out today.
