IND vs PAK | Twitter reacts to raging Pakistan after umpires rule Muneeba run-out despite being well home

On the last ball of the fourth over,  Kranti Goud got a ball to zip into Muneeba Ali's pads evoking a loud appeal from her compatriots. However, the umpire stayed unmoved even as the ball dribbled towards Deepti Sharma in the slip cordon. The all-rounder sensed an opportunity to catch Muneeba unawares amidst the chaos and slung the Kookaburra towards the stumps, managing to find timber which led to a third-umpire referral. The replays showed that Muneeba's bat was grounded well inside the popping crease but just as she raised her bat briefly, the white rock hit the stumps at that exact moment and the third-umpire wasted little time in declaring her out. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led Indian contingent was jubilant while Muneeba boiled with rage as she sought clarification from the umpire before accepting her fate. However, she was halted at the boundary ropes by skipper Fatima Sana who partook in an intensely animated conversation with the fourth official. Sana seemed to argue that since Muneeba's bat was grounded and she had no intention for a run, Muneeba should be not out under the modified MCC rules that under 30.1.2 states "a batter shall not be considered to be out of his/her ground if, in running or diving towards his/her ground and beyond, and having grounded some part of his/her person or bat beyond the popping crease, there is subsequent loss of contact between the ground and any part of his/her person or bat, or between the bat and person." 

Even though the argument dragged on for a few moments even as a confused set of Indian players giggled about and waited patiently on the ground, the signal was finally given for the next batter to walk on continue the game. Nevertheless, Muneeba remained sat near the boundary ropes with her shaking head screaming of rage, with the wicket sparking a huge debate in the online circketing fraternity.
