In a Sheffield Shield match, the umpire first dismissed Chris Green off a delivery. As he was walking back to the pavilion, the replays of his wicket were also shown on the big screen. Looking at it, the umpire realised it was not out, and called him back to the crease.

When New South Wales were batting in the second innings, the team faced a collapse. Chris Green stood at the crease, eager to maintain a partnership with the new batsman. when he stood at the score of 20 runs off 33 balls.
This ball deflected from his gloves and was caught behind by the wicket keeper. Without even a second thought, the Western Australia's team started to appeal for the same. As a result, the umpire was also convinced that the batsman had made contact with his bat and was now out.
