Yograj Singh Makes Emotional Appeal to Yuvraj and Shabnam.

Yograj Singh recently made some statements about his son, Yuvraj Singh, and ex-wife Shabnam. In an interview, he got emotional about his past mistakes and how he treated them when they were all together as a family.

Yograj Singh has lately been among the most active across social media handles. Despite not being linked with the game for decades, he makes his way to the headlines in one way or the other. And once again, Yograj for his statements on Yuvraj Singh and his ex-wife Shabnam.

Yograj Singh asked for forgiveness from both Yuvraj and his ex-wife. While talking about the same, he was also seen in tears, which shows how important they were to him. As his statement went viral on the internet, it has also left the fans deeply moved by the same.

1. Near-Death Incident Opens Eyes

In an interview, Yograj Singh revealed that he had a near-death experience a few days before. He said that suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his stomach. He went to the hospital, where he was informed that surgery needs to be done and his chances for survival are minimal.

The surgery happened, and fortunately, Yograj Singh was able to survive the same. He called his survival a miracle, and it also opened his old memories, which had been buried a long time ago. After the incident, Yograj was present at the Fivewood Podcast, where he informed the fans about the same.

He was also asked if he had any regrets in his life. To this, he said:

“Too many. Everything I did was because it had come down to my self-respect and my family. I have deleted most of those memories, because that’s what Guru told me to do. But I beg forgiveness with folded hands. I request anybody that I’ve harmed, be it an outsider or someone from my own family, to forgive me. I ask forgiveness of my children, my wife, Yuvi’s mother, and everybody else. It was all my fault. If I’ve ever spoken ill about any friend, any competitor, be it in cricket or films, I am sorry. I have no qualities; I only have flaws. I have not done a single decent thing in life.”

Yograj Singh ended his statements by saying that he has no qualities, only flaws, which made him a bad parent. He also mentioned that he had sleepless nights, remembering the mistakes he had made in the past. Earlier, Yograj did not have any regrets, but the near-death incident now makes him look for Moksha.

2. Harsh Parenting and Past Statements

Fans have started knowing Yograj Singh as the individual who shaped the career of Yuvraj Singh. He has also shared incidents with the fans, telling them how he used to train Yuvraj to reach the international level. The former Indian cricketer said that he used rigorous training methods on his son and even did abusive training to push his career.

Previously, he used to defend his actions of treating his son like that. But now it seems that his tone has changed. Yograj Singh has realised that he imposed some serious restrictions on his first wife. This further led to more damage to their family. Recently, he called his previous wife ‘Mata’ and his sons as ‘Gurus,’ and also said, “When I die, I want Guru to be proud of me.”

But the words of Yograj Singh have not aged well. A few days ago, a podcast of his was released on the YouTube channel of Highbrow Studios. He said that he has accepted his isolation from his family, and has no sons or daughters. The former cricketer also said that he has now completely surrendered himself to spirituality.

In the interview, he said, “I have never missed them, but I am grateful that I was able to give them a good upbringing.” At that time, Yograj Singh insisted that he had removed the negative memories with the help of his spiritual guide.
