In the latest sign of their deepening connection with Saudi Arabia, Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodríguez have purchased two ultra luxury villas at the Red Sea destination developed by Red Sea Global. The properties are located at Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve residence known for its exclusivity and privacy.
Nujuma forms part of the Red Sea Residences collection, which includes only 19 private villas set on untouched white beaches and surrounded by clear turquoise waters. The island lies nearly 26 kilometers from the mainland and can be reached only by chartered boat or seaplane, underlining its secluded nature. Ronaldo and Rodríguez chose two different villas, a three bedroom residence designed for family stays and a more intimate two bedroom villa meant for quiet retreats.
Ronaldo, who has visited the Red Sea several times since the opening of its first resorts, described the destination as a truly remarkable place, highlighting the calm atmosphere and natural beauty. The wider Red Sea development is a flagship initiative under Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to blend high end tourism with sustainability. The project is powered entirely by renewable energy and targets a 30 percent net conservation benefit for local ecosystems by 2040, positioning it as one of the world’s most ambitious luxury tourism ventures.
