Krishan Hooda Criticizes Defence and Referee After PKL 12 Qualifier 2 Loss

For the Telugu Titans, their Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 journey came to a disappointing end after a 45-50 loss to Puneri Paltan in Qualifier 2. Despite taking an early 9-point lead by inflicting an all-out, the Titans could not sustain the momentum as Pune fought back strongly, narrowing the deficit to four points at half-time. Puneri Paltan then turned the tide in the second half, inflicting two all-outs and eventually sealing their third final appearance in the last four seasons.

Aditya Shinde emerged as Pune’s hero with an outstanding 21 raid points that powered his team to victory. Following the match, Titans’ head coach Krishan Kumar Hooda expressed his frustration over the defensive lapses that cost them the game, singling out Ajit Pawar for conceding multiple points. Hooda admitted the raiding unit performed well but blamed poor defensive execution for the defeat, stressing the need to rebuild the defence next season.
