Video | MS Dhoni treats on-field intruder with utmost respect like the true ‘gentleman’ he is

Form is temporary but class is permanent, and CSK skipper MS Dhoni proved the same in the ongoing match between Rajasthan Royals and the Super Kings at the MCA stadium. Dhoni made a conversation with an on-field intruder while walking towards the crease before respectfully walking away.

It’s not about what sport you play but rather how you play it, as said by Sachin Tendulkar, who declared that winning is important but how you win is equally important. The CSK skipper lived up to Tendulkar’s words in his most recent outing for the boys in yellow against Rajasthan Royals.

Playing at the MCA stadium in Gahunje village in Pune under the eye of home supporters who travelled there with the Whistle Podu Express, Dhoni made his way onto the pitch upon the dismissal of Suresh Raina after he was caught by a brilliant effort from Krishnappa Gowtham.

But an interesting incident took place when Dhoni was walking towards the crease from the pavilion to bat. Dhoni was interrupted by an on-field intruder as he came out to bat, and was initially taken aback. But he did not react in a rude or aggressive manner and rather he heard the stranger out and respectfully walked away from him as the intruder ran back into the crowd with a sense of satisfaction, which was clearly visible on his face.

Dhoni did not do much damage tonight though, as he was dismissed after scoring just 5 runs and was caught by a rather hesitant effort from Gowtham, once again.
