For the Canadian forward Jonathan David, his debut Serie A season with Juventus has been far from ideal. After joining the Bianconeri from Lille in the summer of 2025, the 25-year-old striker has struggled to make an impact in Italy. Having featured in just 10 league matches and played only 51 percent of the available minutes, David has managed a single goal and one assist so far. His only strike came in the season opener against Parma, and his performances since have failed to convince both supporters and coaches.

Reports from Gazzetta dello Sport suggest that Juventus may be open to letting him leave in January, with Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur showing serious interest. Since David arrived on a free transfer after his Lille contract expired, any deal now would bring a clear financial gain for Juve.

Despite his struggles in Turin, David’s past record remains impressive, he netted 109 goals and 30 assists in 232 games for Lille and won Ligue 1 in 2020-21, while also scoring 37 times for Gent before that.
