For the Telugu Titans, it was a night to remember as they ended Patna Pirates’ stunning eight-match winning streak with a 46-39 victory in Eliminator 3 at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium. Bharat Hooda was the star of the show, producing a magnificent 23-point performance to guide the Titans into Qualifier 2, where they will face Puneri Paltan for a place in the final.
The match began at a furious pace, with both teams trading early blows. Patna, led by their in-form raider Ayan Lohchab, took early control and inflicted the first ALL OUT within six minutes. Ayan continued his brilliant season, becoming only the fifth player in PKL history to cross 300 raid points in a single campaign, and the joint-fastest to do so. However, the Titans turned the tide before halftime, inflicting an ALL OUT to lead 22-20.
Bharat’s Super 10 early in the second half and another ALL OUT pushed the Titans ahead by 10 points. Despite Ayan’s late surge and Navdeep’s fourth High Five of the season, the Pirates could not close the gap. Bharat sealed the win with a Super Raid, completing 200 raid points this season and ensuring the Titans’ passage to Qualifier 2.
